We are a group of citizens concerned about the environmental impact of the Tara Development, 1,000+ residences and business property planned next to Mill Creek Sink.

Mill Creek Sink is a direct connection to the aquifer through an underwater cave system - feeding wells, springs, and the Santa Fe River. This is off US HWY 441 next to I-75.

Pollution from roads, buildings, and yards threaten drinking water, wildlife, and springs.

Dye trace studies proved there is a hydrologic connection from Mill Creek Sink to a residential well (2 miles away) and Hornsby Spring (9 miles away), a designated Outstanding Florida Spring on the Santa Fe River.

Follow the story of Mill Creek Sink in the PRESS section.
